improving the processes in our hotel, training your colleagues, and making sure everything runs smoothly in our f&b department. you ensure that all colleagues have the right tools to make our guests happy with our food and beverage services. and as the supervisor, you are responsible for the restaurant, coffee & wine lounge, room service, and meeting rooms together with our international team here in our big hotel. at mövenpick we make moments, do you?be limitless during your shift you make sure that everything runs smoothly. if a waiter cannot solve a complain, you jump in to help. you check that the orders are correct, and the employees are well supervised and trained, as you are not always on the floor. together with the whole team, you make sure that everything is going according to plan and at the end you hand the shift over neatly to the colleagues taking over. this way the colleagues are up to date. moreover, you are responsible for administrative tasks, such as processing and checking payments, and placing orders with the f&b manager. no limits to your abilities. in addition, you are: responsible for welcoming the guests and making sure they feel hospitable with our food and beverage options. good service is our number 1 priority. providing correct information about the drinks and dishes and serve them appropriately. involved in complex questions, complaints or feedback from our guests. responsible for supervising and training the employees. making drinks and taking orders, while making small conversation with our guests. preparing the restaurant for the dinner or cleaning up after breakfast. refilling the drinks in the bar, so all drinks are available. responsible for preparing and setting up the meeting rooms. your working hours depend on what shift you have that day. these are working hours vary from 06.00 to 14.00 or 07.00 to 15.00 or 15.00 to 23.00. you are open to work in the weekends proud to presentmövenpick: the place to enjoy life. inside, we create a space for our guests to enjoy by relaxing at the bar with a delicious cocktail or a creamy cappuccino. in our restaurants, you can discover the most delicious special dishes. we are originally from switzerland, and we carry this luxurious gastronomic hospitality with us. ‘enjoying life to the fullest.’ that is our mantra for our guests, but also for you as an employee. you start every working day together with national and international colleagues in our beautiful 4-star hotel located in the hague. the team consists of young colleagues who are collegial and friendly towards each other. despite the different nationalities, we can definitely speak of a close group of colleagues. you will work in a hotel with 72 rooms, a restaurant, coffee & wine lounge and 3 meeting rooms. on a lovely, sunny day, you can choose between a 15-minute walk or a 10-minute cycle ride from the central station. or you can hop on the bus or tram from the other side of our hotel. in short: we have it all.“being part of our team, is like winning the lottery’ - f&b manager mövenpick.don’t work. do what you love insteadthrough your great feeling of responsibility, you know exactly what your team needs to do their job well. even during busy moments, you keep your head cool. with your empathy, you ensure that guests have a great time, and the employees serve the guests well. you have: the appropriate food & beverage knowledge, such as wine and cocktails knowledge. minimum 1 years of experience as restaurant & bar waiter in a hotel. fluent written and spoken knowledge of the english language and preferably the dutch language as well. we offerof course, we want you to have an optimal experience at mövenpick. that is why we are offering: a monthly gross salary of between €2.443 and €2.958 in accordance with scale 5 of the collective labour agreement for the dutch hospitality and catering industry. contract of 38 hours per week. 25 leave days and time off for any overtime. extra day off during your birthday month. a travel allowance up to €200 per month, on the basis of the actual number of kilometres. a night-shift allowance of 20%. pension contributions with the horeca & catering pension fund. national and international opportunities for growth and (cross) training opportunities. a uniform, laundry service and meals. use the sport facilities in the hotel. discounts on rooms, food and drink at mövenpick hotels & resorts, accor & revo hospitality group hotels. enjoy an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast in the hotel where you work at with feel like a guest experience. recruitment bonus for new a colleague. various staff outings. this is the right time to say yescan you already see yourself working here? In het hart van Den Haag op slechts 1 minuut loopafstand van Paleis Noordeinde staat onze nieuwste Mövenpick hotel. In 2020 opende ze haar deuren met een moderne dutch tough design. Het hele hotel is op die manier gestyled waardoor je het nieuwe, frisse gevoel krijgt als je binnenstapt. Met 72 kamers, 3 vergaderzalen, een restaurant en een luxe ingerichte sportschool zijn we een plek voor jong en oud. In ons restaurant genieten onze gasten van overheerlijke gerechten gemaakt met onze eigen producten. Of nemen ze plaats in onze coffee & wine lounge voor een romige cappuccino of een speciale wijn naar keuze.

We ontvangen gasten van over de hele wereld voor vergaderingen of twee vriendinnen uit Nederland die blijven slapen na een dagje sightseeing, vanuit ons hotel is alles mogelijk.
